I live in Silver Spring, Maryland with my husband, Dave, and my two year old Siberian Husky named Neeka. Like many of the students I teach, I love animals! I had a cat and a dog when I was growing up and when traveling, I try to do activities that involve animals such as swimming with dolphins, stingrays, whale sharks and turtles. I try to make sure I include exercising in my daily schedule. In addition to going on long walks with Neeka, I regularly go to the gym, occasionally go jogging and play softball. I received my Master of Arts in Teaching from Johns Hopkins University and I’ve been teaching first grade at Gorman Crossing for the past four years. I look forward to working with all of you and making it a great school year!
